Hi, I’m Nice

(Some of my other names are Nic or Nicole)

I make weird sh*t in my garage

I specialize in ceramics, resin, costume headpieces, wreaths, and more. All of my pieces are one-of-a-kind strange creations.

I am based in San Jose, CA, and you can see me in person at numerous art markets throughout the year.

I use the moniker “Bad Art” for a couple of reasons:

1) To promote the embrace of perceived imperfections as they are what make us unique, I am not perfect and neither is my art. I hope you find value in that.

2) To investigate ourselves and our society via the themes that arise from horror, taboo topics, and mysterious spaces.

I believe that art can bring levity to us in dark times, and clarity to us in others.

Embrace the weird, spread the joy. 

Sometimes, I look like an etheral creature that emerged from the dark realms, but most of the time, I look like a troll that crawled out from under the nearest bridge, covered in mud.
